What We Do

Cyber Skills for Canadians is a program that was established to help reskill and upskill individuals for employment in the tech industry. Our goal is to provide students with skills that are required to establish a stable career in cyber security where salaries are high and unemployment is low. The Cyber Skills for Canadians program has 3 academic streams..

For prospective students who wants to learn the latest in the cyber curriculum, the Cyber Skills for Canadians program has the most advanced coursework in the country. Prior to enrollment, individuals submit their information on the Apply Now form on the Cyber Skills for Canadians website. Upon submission, the 2nd step includes completing an online intake assessment. Once both of these steps are completed, there is a final interview where one of our counselors will help you select the best career path in our program

The Cyber Skills for Canadians Program

Our Learning Journey

Secure Software Development
The program includes understanding and skill fluency in three programming languages plus HTML – presented with a security-first emphasis. Students learn the most common programming languages and operating systems in network security today and will be ready to secure their software development career upon completion. Candidates write the DevSecOps and Python certification exams.
Cyber Security Network
The program guides a candidate through the knowledge and practice needed to demonstrate the skills for professional level career roles. Students gain the knowledge and build the skills to achieve professional competence in Network Security. Candidates are prepared through program materials and exercises to write two acclaimed industry certification exams – Cisco CyberOps Associate and the Cisco CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate).
Cyber Security Architect
The program provides the knowledge and practice needed to demonstrate the skills for professional-level career roles in Cyber Security operations. Students gain the knowledge and build the skills for early-career capability in Cyber Security operations. Candidates are prepared through program materials and exercises and supported with exam preparation specifics, to write the industry certification exam for the CISSP through IS
